Chapter BH:8. EXCAVATIONS FOR PLUMBING WORK

§ BH:8-2.2. Serving of notice by registered or certified mail.

Except as provided in subsection BH:8-2.3 hereof, the person responsible for the excavation shall serve a written notice of intention on the person engaged in the distribution or transmission of manufactured, mixed or natural gas in the area at least three full working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) prior to commencement of any excavation. The written notice of intention shall be served personally or by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, on the person so engaged in the transmission of or distribution of the aforesaid gases and shall contain the name of the person responsible and the date, place, and type of excavation to be conducted.
