§ 7-31. TAXI STANDS.

The locations described are hereby designated as Taxi Stands. No vehicle other than a taxi shall be permitted to occupy these locations during the times indicated.

	Note: Minimum length of taxi stand near intersection is 25 feet. Adding the sidewalk area of about 10 feet to the area where parking is prohibited by State Law would make the starting point approximately 35 feet from the curbline. Other locations should be at least 30 feet for one taxi and an additional 25 feet for each additional taxi.
	No taxi stand may be established in any area where it is prohibited to stand or park pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-136.
