§ 2-50.4. Organization; meeting; by-laws.

a.
The members of the Commission on Aging shall reorganize annually and select a Chairman and Vice Chairman. The Chairman and Vice Chairman shall serve as such until the first day of January next following their respective appointments and until their successors shall be appointed and shall qualify. Vacancies in the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship shall be filled in like manner for the unexpired term only.

b.
Members shall receive no compensation for their services as members.

c.
The Commission shall meet at least once a month and at such other times as the Commission may direct.

d.
The Commission shall establish bylaws which shall govern the conduct of the Commission at its meetings. Bylaws shall be adopted within three months of the organization of the first Commission.
