§ 2-13.4. Chief Financial Officer.

a.
Office created. The office of Chief Financial Officer for the Township of Deptford is hereby established.

b.
The Chief Financial Officer shall be a person who is a "Certified Municipal Officer" appointed by the Municipality as defined by New Jersey Statutes.

c.
The Chief Financial Officer shall carry out the responsibilities established by the mandates of New Jersey Statutes and Regulations relevant thereto.

d.
No member of the Township Council of the Township of Deptford shall be appointed as the Chief Financial Officer.
