§ 18-2.3. Mandatory separation of aluminum materials.

Program established. There is hereby established a program for the mandatory separation of used aluminum materials within the Township.
b.Method of placing used aluminum materials.
1.The occupant or owner of any building within the Township who shall place for disposal, removal or collection of the following named item shall do so in strict conformity within the following added regulations:
2.Used aluminum materials shall be placed in galvanized or plastic containers not exceeding 30 gallons in capacity and shall be no heavier than 60 pounds when filled, and shall have a lid or cover and two sturdy handles.
c.Collection by unauthorized person. From time of placement at the curb by any one of the categories described herein for collection by the Township in accordance with the terms hereof, items shall be and become the property of the Township of Deptford or its authorized agent. It shall be a violation of this section for any person unauthorized by the Township to collect or pick-up or cause to be collected or picked-up any such items. Any and each such collection in violation hereof from one or more residences shall constitute a separate and distinct offense punishable as hereinafter provided.
